“Punchavayalkkaattu” Roadside Scenic Stop-over – a Nice View Point:
“Punchavayalkkaattu” / “Punjavayalkkaattu” is a roadside scenic stop-over that stretches for about three-hundred mtrs between Neendoor and Kallara towns in Kottayam district. The vast expanse of land on either side of the road has paddy fields interspersed with coconut trees plantations, touching the horizon picturesquely.
The whole area appears exceptionally beautiful during rainy season, with water covering the paddy fields on one side.
You can find light refreshment, ice cream, fruits vendors in this area. It is during weekends and public holidays that this you would find this stretch more lively.
There is a farm products’ shop here that sells fresh fish, meat and vegetables.
The place is sponsored and maintained by “J. Yes Farms” of Neendoor.
