The Samkranthi Annual Fair of Rural Merchandise: (old M.C. Road, Samkranthi Junction)
Held annually since quite some time, the Samkranthi Annual Fair of Rural Merchandise is attractive not only to those who want to buy the goods but also to the new-generation folks who wish to know the traditional merchandise of rural Kerala.
From traditional household articles to agricultural tools, the fair showcases culture, craft and class. Everything is reasonably priced.
The fair, though officially has concluded, would continue for a few more days. Some of the shops would operate until 20th July 2017 or so. If you have not yet visited the fair, please act fast!
You can find the shops on old M.C. Road at Samkranthi Junction, Kottayam (about 6 km from Kottayam town, towards Ettumanoor)
